I'm not telling you anything when I tell you about Parabeam. This unique product which has existed for many years and which has proven itself in several sectors including the construction and renovation of tanks and the fight against pollution by leaks. It is also present in boating and transport where we have been users for many years.
For some time now we have been using Parabeam in a new process which we call 'PARABONDING'.
PARABONDING is a revolutionary method for vacuum bonding. It consists of 'gluing' two materials through a layer of 3D Paraglass fabrics. The result is a double function film that sticks and strengthens at the same time (which replaces a sandwich skin) while eliminating surface defects up to 4.5mm. (See photo). The resin can be chosen according to the surfaces that you will be glueing. Thus it can be used for example in glueing veneers, teak planking or deck antislip panels.
ADVANTAGES -
• PARABONDING avoids the need to drill surfaces to be glued to evacuate the air even when glueing several square meters.
• PARABONDING helps the evacuation of air even when vacuuming from one side - this avoids the use of large vacuum bags thus reducing consumables.
• PARABONDING can replace up to 5 litres of glue per square meter. The only thing that comes out in vacuum is air.
• PARABONDING avoids any need for tools linked to bonding - mixing drill, notched spatulas, etc.
• PARABONDING eliminates the problems of exothermie.
• PARABONDING does not fill the cells in honeycombs and, above all, the distribution is 100% homogeneous.
For example, it is perfect for gluing wood veneer on all flat supports, non-slip plates on boat decks, etc.
